Digital learning hub supports young businesses during coronavirus pandemic

The outbreak of the coronavirus is proving challenging for many businesses, particularly new businesses and start-ups.

To support young businesses during this difficult time, business support programme, Ad:Venture, is providing free online masterclasses in areas such as business planning, finances and marketing through their Digital Learning Hub.

The ERDF-funded Ad:Venture scheme is aimed at businesses and start-ups under three-years-old in the Leeds City Region. The online masterclasses, video tutorials and expert advice are intended to help young companies navigate the rocky first few years in business and complement the online webinars and expert-led training that businesses can access through the programme.

Accessible on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices, the Ad:Venture Digital Learning Hub was developed by Candle Digital after successfully winning the tender for the project.

Andy Jack, Director at Candle Digital, said:

“We’re really proud of the Digital Learning Hub we created for the Ad:Venture programme. It’s a rough and uncertain time for many businesses at the moment – in particular for fledgling businesses looking to establish themselves. We hope that the online masterclasses will support the development of young businesses in the Leeds City Region and help them prosper, even in this challenging environment.”
